Denny's Favorite Yeast: the info says it can be used for most beer types. Are there some that this yeast is better for than others?

What is a good yeast to be used for most beer styles? I've mainly brewed APA's but want to venture into IPA's.

It's a very versatile yeast... Read the description / profile of the yeast. If that sounds like a characteristic you would like in the final beer than brew with it.

From Wyeast:

Styles:
American Amber Ale
American Brown Ale
American IPA
American Pale Ale
American Stout
Braggot
Brown Porter
Christmas/Winter Specialty Spiced Beer
Classic Rauchbier
Cream Ale
Fruit Beer
Imperial IPA
Irish Red Ale
Other Smoked Beer
Russian Imperial Stout
Spice, Herb, or Vegetable Beer
Strong Scotch Ale
Wood-Aged Beer

I have done a couple with it but not recently. I am sure they were good..
