Hello All! So I have been looking around at the cider forum and found a lot on dry hopped cider that i wanted to give a go around. There is a lot on the possible hops but not nearly as much on what yeasts to use so I figure I would turn it to you guys to see what you thought.

I was going back and forth between using a traditional wine type cider yeast, a northwest ale yeast (like wlp001 or 041), or one of the NEIPA juice bombs (1318). I wanted to see what you guys thought would be best? Right now I am leaning towards the west-coast ipa yeast.

Not sure that it matters much. I used WLP775 because I had two batches going and decided to hop one. The hops dominate, so on another occasion I would just use SO4 which is my go-to since here in Oz timing is a bit critical for WL. We make cider in May and the WL tends to have an expiry date early in the year... dry yeast is much easier, but I do like the results from WLP775.

I have used S04 and D47. No real difference I could tell as mentioned above the hop flavor hides anything the yeast bring.
