Yeast arrived warm

Ordered some yeast that arrived on monday and the cold pack was already ambient temp and the yeast smack pack was also. I plan to brew on saturday, should i smack it tonight and leave it at room temp until i brew?

+1. Make a starter to make sure the yeast is viable and that you have enough yeast to do the job.

I smacked it last night and it was ballooned up this morning. I think i'm good to go.

Pitching liquid yeast without a starter is under-pitching. Fermentation will be faster and cleaner resulting in a better beer if you make a starter.
