1st question =I have some yeast that says use by Sep 1 2010 can i still use it?
2nd question= If i can some new yeast can i use both?

I really want to brew this weekend so i hope i can use this yeast that i have

I bet the old yeast will be OK. Is it dry or liquid? If liquid, make a starter (which you should probably do anyway). How has it been stored? If it was dry yeast, and it was refrigerated, I'm sure it'll be fine. As long as it hasn't been exposed to really high temps for an extended period, I would think it would work. But if it's just dry yeast, and you think it's suspect, I'd just buy another pack (what does it cost, anyway, 2-3 bucks?).
