Just made a yeast starter (haven't pitched yet) using 1 cup dme to 1 quart water plus one drop of foam control, boiled for 10 minutes. It's cooling right now but separating very badly in the process. It's only my 2nd yeast starter so I'm not sure if its normal. Here's a picture that kind of shows what it looks like. Little clumps just floating around. Should I just stir it in a little?
Edit: had it in the freezer to chill it quickly if that makes a difference. Only about 5 minutes before I took it out and saw the separation
