Well damn. Newbie here and just finished my 2nd all grain brew. When I placed my bill grain order with Austin Homebrew I messed up and selected 1 lb of aromatic malt and only need .10 lbs. So it was mixed in with my other ingredients so I decided to brew it anyways. I'm doing only 1 gallon of an Apple Crisp Ale. The brewing process went fine and I have it fermenting like crazy now. The color is a chestnut brown but is filtering quite nice. I guess I will find out how bad it is in another month. Did a quick search and my conclusion is that this is the malt where more is not a good thing.

2 oz Crystal 60L
1 oz Chocolate Malt
1 lb Aromatic Malt
2 lbs Brewers 2-Row Malt
.3 oz Fuggle Pellet Hops
.1 oz Hallertau Pellet Hops

So is this gonna taste like ass? lol. Well I had fun making it! I will learn to tripple check all my grain bill orders!!!

Thanks! Well there is nothing I can do about it now. Kicking myself but hey its only 12 beers or so that I will have to gag down if need be.

theres nothing to worry about, ive used 10lbs of it before. like yoop said, it'll just be more malt forward.
