Good afternoon,
I brewed 3 extract kits which turned out quite well and am wanting to try an all grain batch. I really liked one of the kits by Brewers Best: Mexican Cerveza which had the following ingredients:
FERMENTABLES
6.6 lb. Extra Light
8 oz. Rice Syrup Solids
SPECIALTY GRAINS
4 oz. Carapils
4 oz. Caramel 8L
HOPS
1 oz. Willamette
SPICE PACK
YEAST
1 Sachet
Is it easy as just using the grain to extract chart and use 9 lbs of grain that would equal 6.6 of LME (11.7 lbs of grain if calculating based on 70% efficiency)?
