Just pitched a vial into my starter. Going to make a 2.5-3 gallon batch to try this yeast out. I used Sprout brand apple juice for the last test batch. It tasted nice. I tried the Wyeast cider yeast. It was ok... Going to give this a shot and see how it turns out. Saw on the whitelabs site that it is a high attenuating yeast. Lots of people saw FGs around 1. That is dry! Might have to end up backsweetening, but that is okay. If I don't like it I might go give Notty a try. Or Mangrove Jacks Cider strain. Or both?!
