Will this work as a Mash Paddle?

I use something similar (but not exactly like it) that I picked up at a restaurant supply store for under $10. I haven't felt the need to drill any holes in it, and works just fine to break up clumps.

Does the saying "stir like crazy" ring a bell? Better money spent on a mortar or paint mixing spade. Attach to drill and go nuts. Unless your fly sparging, in which it would just be for breaking dough balls. Nothing against mash spoon users. Just my 2 cents.

I bought one for less than 10 bucks last week at Lowes and used it Sunday.

It was much better than the plastic spoon that I was using..

This one ended up working well. I'm going to drill some holes in it soon though. I am also using it to stir in my brew kettle ;)
