I'm happy to announce that after a year in the making The Referend is opening its doors to the public on Saturday, December 3rd.
There will be a selection of cask-poured spontaneously fermented beers, including our Berliner Weisse/Lambic-style hybrid, Berliner Messe, as well as dry-hopped and fruited variants. If the timing is right and the barrels are not too temperamental, we will also be pouring Jung, our young Méthode Lambic beer, served still, as is traditional, at cellar temperature.
I will keep everyone up to date with additional information here, on our website, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, but wanted to let you all save the date to come see what we've been up to these many months here in Hopewell Township, NJ.
This opening date will start our open schedule of the first and third Saturdays of each month, from 2-8 PM. Once a sizable portion of our long-aging barrel stock reaches maturity in 2017 we hope to extend our open days to better accommodate our visitors.
