Yeah that Brotherton IPA is legit.

Lets all enjoy it while we can. Eventually they'll put it in 16oz cans with sticker labels, and we won't be able to get any for awhile.

The 16oz IPA sticker on a can is an insta whale these days.

I already mentioned to DJPhresh about stopping by soon. The tasting room is supposed to open in a couple weeks but the restaurant is legit (although expensive). Referend just got their state approval so they are gonna be opening up soon too. Maybe wait and hit em both up???

Troon and the Referend are only 15 minutes apart so it would definitely make sense to do both once the Referend and Troon's tasting room are open.

Maybe a talkbeer field trip? I live 5 minutes from the Referend so might be able to do a share at my place after (depending on wife and kids). luvmusic? kbhess?

Jspriest any word on when the Referend might open? I could use a good steam with those barrels.

We could do a small share at Nomad pizza that's just down the street. It's BYOB and way cheaper then eating at Brickfarm Tavern. I had 2 pints, a set of sliders and a cup of fries.....$40+

If anyone is interested in hitting up the Referend and Conclave on 12/3 shoot me a PM. Not sure if Troon's tasting room will be open by then, so we may have to push back the full itinerary, but we might be able to stop by Brick Farm for a taste of Troon depending on timing.

I'm going to be at the next Other Half can release, which will probably be 11/19, and then pretty close to Carton that same day. But I actually need to hit up Carton that weekend, so if your friend can meet me at or near Carton I can probably make this happen for you. PM me and we'll figure it out.

I'm happy to announce that after a year in the making The Referend is opening its doors to the public on Saturday, December 3rd.

There will be a selection of cask-poured spontaneously fermented beers, including our Berliner Weisse/Lambic-style hybrid, Berliner Messe, as well as dry-hopped and fruited variants. If the timing is right and the barrels are not too temperamental, we will also be pouring Jung, our young Méthode Lambic beer, served still, as is traditional, at cellar temperature.

I will keep everyone up to date with additional information here, on our website, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, but wanted to let you all save the date to come see what we've been up to these many months here in Hopewell Township, NJ.

This opening date will start our open schedule of the first and third Saturdays of each month, from 2-8 PM. Once a sizable portion of our long-aging barrel stock reaches maturity in 2017 we hope to extend our open days to better accommodate our visitors.

Has anybody sampled their offering(s) yet?

I don't make it up that way often but it is on a direct path north up to Conclave for me... nothing really else is on my way up that way beer wise so it will be nice to have another spot on the route in due time.

There's a few opened near conclave I think at least 2 in close vicinity and czig Meister is bout 30 mins north so def able to hit few on a Saturday

Hung out at Harvest Moon today. I continue to really enjoy the coffee porters that Kyle is putting out. The guava sour was nice as were his Cubs pale ale and the double IPA.
