I've never been to a Christmas themed party in my sheltered life before. And to add to my anxiety, I was invited to the party by a guy I've recently started dating...all of his close friends are going to be there and well, it would be nice to look good. I asked him what I should wear, and he told me that he knows of at least one person possibly wearing a green latex suit to look like the Grinch. And he suggested ugly sweaters or something cheesy.

Are there any other suggestions out there? I can only think of maybe an ugly Christmas sweater, a skirt of some kind, and bright green or red tights, bow in the hair.....but I don't know. If you've been to a Christmas-themed party in the past, what did you wear???

Much appreciated for suggestions!

Sweaters & vests are always in style.

I'm sure there are some good suggestions of what to wear or not. Perhaps we can move this to a more appropriate forum section.

One time I dressed as Santa so all the ladies would sit in my lap and tell me what they wanted for Christmas. I HIGHLY recommend trying this! :ban:

Nope...there are many different types of chaps. The majority of them are crotchless though.

WRONG!!!!

Chaps are sturdy coverings for the legs consisting of leggings and a belt. They are buckled on over trousers with the chaps' integrated belt, but unlike trousers they have no seat and are not joined at the crotch.

I'm horse guy (convert) and I used to think the way you do. But now I know better :ban:

Wikipedia is a bad reference source.
There are many different types of chaps, the cowboy type don't have a seat but many motorcycle kinds cover the ass....nothing like road rash on your ass.

I'll take back the suggestion for chaps.....just a zorro mask.
