Chicken breast in oily spice rub with a hint of chili, potatoes and green salad with orange paprika, cucumber and peach. Rarely have I seen the boys destroy their dish with such vigor. Funny enough the salad seemed to gain more popularity than the rest.

No pictures but Temptd’s Chili Colorado recipe is everybody’s favorite thing I have made in my new Instant Pot! A close second is the Carnitas I did a couple of nights ago then crisped up under the broiler just before serving.
So glad that Chili Colorado recipe is a hit - here too! I LOVE my Instant Pot, had it a couple years now - made my blackeyed peas in it for NY Day, took 22 minutes, starting with beans that I'd soaked overnight. That cooker is one of my very favorite kitchen gadgets!
No Thanksgiving, Christmas cooking from me - we were in the throes of selling one house, buying another, and driving 12 hours with two cats to get to our new place. But NY Day is not right without Hoppin' John and the Instant Pot made it do-able, surrounded by mountains of what seem to be ever-multiplying moving boxes! LOL!
Congrats on selling buying and getting the move done... Trust all is good and glad you could pop in on the thread (your absence was noticed)

Beer battered everything, used Hayburner and it turned out nice but I think I should have taken it out of the fryer a few minutes earlier.
First time trying it, so oh well it was tasty as flocc
