Got this idea from @passedpawn, thought I would share here as well. So much more organized and easy to find the spices i'm looking for!
And for my christmas dinner I wanted to make ribs, but they didn't have any (or any similar cut), so I went with a beef rib-steak. Put together a dry-rub (brown sugar, paprika, minced onion, granulated garlic, cumin powder, celery salt, sea salt, black pepper, chili powder and ground chipotle) and chilled for 24 hours. Baked @ 180ºF for 3 hours, then slathered some homemade BBQ sauce (Breakfast stout BBQ with added pineapple and chocolate habanero) and broiled for 5 minutes. Perfection, and my, was this yummy!
