And today's mail brough more comp goodies. Silver for Leichtbier from Brew Battle in TX and a bronze from same for the Best Beer name category, for the same beer, which was "This beer had a name, but DOGE cut it". The Sugar Skulls are sweet! And two bronze from Spirit of Free Beer in MD for my doppelbock and American blonde.
Were those Reggie Comps with the Sugar Skulls? If so, I am entering next year!

The huskless grain showed up, although I see husks, but maybe fewer?

To be fair, the supplier description says: "Crafted by removing the majority of husk, fine grit, and flour from milled Synergy Select Pilsen Malt" (emphasis added.)

This product is created by using two screens: a coarse screen to catch the big pieces of husk, and a medium screen to let thru the fines and flour. What's in the bag is what went thru the coarse screen, but stayed on the finer screen.

Brew on :mug:

It definitely seems like the fines are not included. I am surprised to see how big some of the husks that made it through the coarse screen. I am still optimistic it's going to be a nice bread and cracker pilsner malt.

Came with a pre-cut nut, but no frets? Or, did you just miss getting the first fret in the pic? Fret spacing has to be one of the toughest things to get right on a neck.

Brew on :mug:
It's all about the detail, in my case it's the fingering on the neck that is the hardest thing.

Not brewing related, but just received this cute little cordless chainsaw. Two batteries, charger, extra bar and chain, oil bottle, tiny pair of gloves, safety glasses, in a nifty carrying case.

Have some tree-trimming to do.
Living inside a Klein bottle I expect the trees are quite small, be careful with that gadget, looks too easy.

Many an hour wasted putting fingers back on!
