Where from? Good price? I was looking them up and the best price for a pound (just under a half kilo) was $42ish US
About 10US$ a pound here.
It pays to be local, I'm in NZ :D

My FREE thermometer from FastBrewing came today. It's from their deal where you write a review for the FastFerment and then you get a free accessory. Pretty awesome. I was pretty close to picking up a sticker-thermometer and then I heard about this deal. I put it in place right after taking this pic.

Woot! :rockin:

Received my Big Mouth Bubblers today, so I can brew even more often now. They're not as wide as my Speidel's, so I'm thinking they'll fit a lit better in my fermenting chamber. Either way, now I've got more containers to fill.

Got a NB order today. It actually came pretty quick for them; less than a week to Maine. They're usually more like a week and a half. So, yeah I don't order liquid yeast or anything I need right away.
Got the grain bill and hops for my Ryecentennial PA, and decided to give their new extract 'Bastard Son Ginger Beer' a try.
I'm actually a little ahead of my planned brewing schedule for this year. Four more batches to do before I take my warm weather hiatus at the end of May/1st of June.

Good times!

We received a couple brand new carbonation stones just the other day. And we got in a brand new pilot brewing system a week or two ago, but we need to return a couple components for replacement so we won't have it up and running for another week or two yet.

So ironically, we won't have our pilot system together until juuuuust before the new full sized system shows up. THAT ought to make things more exciting.

10 lbs of Munton's Mild Malt. One of the few things I can't get at my LHBS (they used to at least stock Briess's Mild Malt, but don't even carry that any more, not surprising as Mild Malt isn't exactly a high selling common use malt).

Mine stocks one 10# bag all the time now...for me. I try to get a split whenever Chicago does a group buy but I forget. I use 30-50% in (shocker) my dark mild.

In my various Milds I normally just use MO, a little crystal, and then maybe some dark invert and/or roasted malts. I've just started working the Mild Malt in.

We got a Blichmann burner a couple of weeks ago, brewed up a pale ale. Yesterday was this, along with three used kegs. First things in the kegs will be a lager, some cider, and the aforementioned pale ale. Yay! Looking forward to not bottling everything we brew!!

OH, yeah! Cannot wait to fire this baby up on my next brew day!

You will love it!! I received one as a gift from my in-laws and it is so much better than the old turkey fryer one I had.

Earlier this week I received a manifold or distributor for my CO2 tank. It will make it easier to use my last straw to bottle from the keg.

The ITC1000 temp controller I won just came in! I also got the replacement micro SD card adaptor in today too. I tested it by uploading a pic of my prize...

A little haul of dodads and accessories from Williams Brewing...been waiting for awhile to decide what to get after getting a gift certificate 2 Christmases ago from my mother in law... She wasn't your prototypical MIL, I was damn lucky to have married her daughter! Mimi has since passed from lung cancer...next brew in her memory!
