Visiting small family farms on the way up to Maine. First time trying Phantasm. Had to take a ride to get the oysters

Buzzards Bay, MA tomorrow. If you ever end up on the South Coast of MA, take a break from wondering "Why god did I end up here?" and have a pint there. Great beer and a beautiful location.

So is the general public allowed to visit? Or must you show government issued papers to be let in?
To travel to HI one must show proof of vaccination or have a negative approved COVID test result to board the plane. Indoor dining is another show your vax card, or use outside seating. Many places are very open so what seems like indoors is considered the same as “outdoors”. If that is a something you would object to stay home, I guess.

We absolutely love Hawaii, being based there flying DC-10's for a number of years. Later flying B-767's and B-777's. We can't take the vaccine due to allergic issues and negative reactions.
My wife and I are both healthy, and COVID free.
But we will most likely never return to Hawaii. Sad.
We object to having our freedoms taken away. And refuse to become an experimental subject, like a lab rat.

Was at a family wedding this weekend (event was Friday night, spent Saturday making our way home.) Checked out Bright Eyes brewing in Long Beach, NY and stopped at 2 Roads on the way north. Got a couple crowlers to go from BE, and a few sours from the Area 2 project from 2Roads. Then stopped at Mohegan Sun for dinner on the way and had an IPA from Outer Light Brewing of Groton CT. Not bad at all.

Vis Major - Omaha, NE. We had some wicked floods last spring and their 100-or so sold building was literally knocked off its foundation. Took them ~8 months to start brewing. We’re able to have guest taps to keep going. Really nice Hazy IPA - If This Be Treason, and a pretzel. Omaha has some mighty fine breweries.

Eight months is a pretty quick recovery from something like that. I’ll check it out the next time I’m there.

No it’s in an office park off of south side blvd on the south side of jax. . There is engine15 and southern swells breweries on Bach blvd. But hey are closer to the beach. The green room brewery is at the beach near beach blvd on a1a . THere are 7 other breweries in the jax area

Green Bench Brewing, St. Petersburg, FL. Can't believe I'd never been there before. Many good beers, but my favorites were their most 'common' (i.e., not the hippest ones): their flagship IPA (Simcoe, Citra, Azaca) and their Czech pilsner (Bohemian malts + nothin' but Saaz). Solid brews.

Loyal Foe Brewing.

Newly opened and a 10 minute drive down the road down by orchard country. Learned about it from my coffee habit and local place doing a Collab with them. Another brewery is supposedly also opening close by. Gonna be a good summer.

On my behalf the place is very nano. Almost took out the wife taking out the trash in the driveway.
