This guy is in the "who died in 2024" list. If you can't hear Rachmaninoff's 2nd piano concerto in it, well you don't know Rachmaninoff. Eric Carmen was a terrific talent.

Earlier this afternoon I listened to the entire Closure/Continuation Live album by Porcupine Tree, via Pandora, while cleaning kegs, fermenter, and various other items.

Just stumbled onto this band. They have a bit of a retro 60's sound.

Armia was one of the.most important Polish hc/punk bands of the late 80's - mid 90's. Then they've turned into metal-ish hard core. Now they issued new album which is somehow dizzy-spacious-melancholic.

I've been enjoying the fictional duo "The Coward Brothers" (Elvis Costello and T Bone Burnett). The album is the soundtrack to an Audible play written by EC featuring the pair and Directed by Christopher Guest. I haven't listened to the play yet (looking forward to that), but the music is excellent. So many good tracks to chose from, including "Early Shirley"
