Giving Tom Waits another try. So far I'm not turning it off, but I've been told I need to check out his whole range of albums because he changes his style a fair amount over the years.

I'm appreciating his SONGWRITING more than the music. But I've never been one to enjoy a song just because it has good lyrics. YOU HEAR ME, BOB DYLAN!!

Ok, seriously, I'm not really getting into this ATM, but I'm only about halfway through his albums on Spotify.

Since @Homercidal mentioned Tom Waits. Yes, he changes a LOT even in the same album. True artist, and for never attaining much commercial success his influence and respect is absolutely astounding.

I know I've posted at least songs from this before, but this is easily my favorite Waits album (and despite a whole bunch of great stuff from genres I prefer more, still probably my favorite LP I own). I respect all his work, but his later stuff can be a bit....hard to listen to at times.

Putting it on vinyl while doing dishes.
