Just picked this up today as I haven't seen it in a while down here in NC. Hopslam released down in NC as well today. IMO, I really like this Mars imperial IPA better than the imperial two hearted ale for sure. At 10% ABV, Mars has a better supportive malt character and appropriate amount of hops that hide the booze MUCH better than double two hearted and even Hopslam IMHO. Its just more balanced better than the other two. MARS is a great, non NEIPA, Imperial IPA. really like this. It also ages exceptionally well as I just had a 2018? or 2019? MARS about 3 weeks ago that was great as well.

If you ever find one of these, I think you might like it. Not an IPA, but a good cream ale. A coworker gave me one a long time ago and I didn’t think I’d like it, but it was great. It’s seasonal and I think they distribute them in the summer.
