That's some ridiculous specs you have in your computer and a very sweet setup. A friend of mine has basically a racing car in house for racing.
I was wondering about the rules of drinking, flying and photographing beer at one time until I saw the screen edge.

Eventually, I'd like to put together a cockpit in the brewpub to replace the piano...as Pianoman has died, RIP. Asobo doesn't make it easy but maybe something during retirement. Have you checked out YouTube vids of home cockpits? Crazy!

Not drinking it yet but drew-off a test sample of the Northern Brewer recipe "Blue Collar Coffee Stout" that I brewed back in November. I tried it on a whim because I had a gift card to burn-off.
I loaded it into Beersmith because I like the brew steps printout to keep my notes and timing on during brew day.

It's been carbonating naturally for two weeks and it is on-track to go into the fridge on 20-Dec. So just in time for family visits over the holiday.
Sample was carbonated well, head was fine bubbles, almost looked like a nitro pour.
Aroma was of Coffee per design. Taste smooth, coffee detectable in mouth as well. Not a predominate roasty taste but I think that might interfere with the coffee if it was there.
ABV finished at 6.2 as planned. I will probably do this one again.
I think it only gets better from here!

So tonight I'll be drinking some commercial stuff, Sam Adams from the Holiday sampler.

Just got home with a new keg of Two Hearted but I need to clean the lines in the kegerater before I tap it so I'll enjoy a couple of these first. Frozen Grey Goose and Italian olives is all you need. A lady friend told me a few days ago that, martinis are like ****s, one is not enough and three is too many.

That's not a Martini! Martinis are gin and vermouth, with optional orange bitters. That, my friend, is a shot of vodka. Add vermouth and you've got a Kangaroo.

Come to Philly, we got this at the ABC store. Where from, Murph?
Florida pan handle. And north Alabama. Neither have great beer selections. I've traveled extensively all over the USA. I'm painfully aware of the great offerings in other parts of the country but I have to choose from what's available locally. Sometimes I get lucky and find interesting brews and like the new keg of Two Hearted Ale I Scored, I can order anything just have to settle for what suppliers can get. Therefore I brew!

"If you are hopelessly lost in the desert or wilderness, simply start mixing a Martini. Almost immediately, at least 7 persons will show up to explain to you how you are doing it wrong. Then, you can simply ask for directions" -- Apocryphal

Unfortunately you can't make your own Absinthe without a still.

This is a Martini. I'd even go so far as to say it's not a proper Martini without the orange bitters, but this is admittedly a minority position.

Yes Sir it is. If you are ever in Chicago (my former home) check out a martini bar on the north side by the name of Artful Dodgers. Absolutely awesome place to get hammered.
