Dry Gin Martini with a twist

Having a cold-crashed sample of my Ale of Åsgard, for scientific purposes, of course. Down to 1.016 already, from approx. 1.095! Never did reach the post-boil gravity I wanted, but still amazed at the power of the mighty Loki yeast! Very clean, the maïze gives it a unique flavour and the opacity is right on track. Can't wait for this one to be finished. :)

@grampamark U should try the all grain "caribou slobber" clone kit from Northern Brewer... its fantastic
I have a Brown Ale recipe I put together about 5 years ago. I wasn’t really trying to clone Moose Drool but my version ended up being so close to the real thing that I call it Bullwinkle Brown. I brew it at least a couple of times every year.

I love it!

Excellent! Looks pretty similar ... only diff is a wee bit of the English Black ... I believe I used Voss Kveik and the extract kit last time I brewed this ... my wife was AMAZED! She was like, "YOU made this.. in a plastic bucket????", ""Yup" My profile pic is a pint of this ...
