Picked up grains to begin the stout path starting with a basic 6.8%er. LHBS dudes kept this for me to sample. Not very good..

Researching next batch. Looking for a low alcohol Belgian pale ale. Lawnmower beer, Belgian style. Maybe a patersbier.
I’ve got a recipe cooked up for a “monks beer”. Very simple with Pilsner, sugar, styrian Goldings, and WLP-500 as that’s what I have. Should end up nice and dry around 4.5%.
To stay on topic, I’m drinking water at work.
Their prices in the Belgian section are pretty good too.
Then you should enjoy those Wilmington Brewing Co beers i sent. Neither are very bitter.
Never said it but impressed with your wall. Do you have a full pic of it and all the labels?
When does beer not become beer? Ha! I've done several PB Stouts but do you think the raspberry is extract or fruit? Might be willing to try a few bottles of PB&Js for fun..I’ve had more than a few adjunct laden beers, but I can honestly say I’ve never had one that lives up to its name quite like this. This tastes just like the sandwiches my mom used to make me. Probably the one drawback I can see is the color is less than great. Sort of a hazy/murky light brown.

Joansing for some Bissell IPAs!

Both are pretty good...I've used red x once or twice...I did a red ipa with it.. very carmelly to me...but in a good way...and I7 is just a great damn hop...it has dank and fruity notes with slight hints of herbal tea...I'm still trying to use up the pound I bought of em...Another interesting low abv beer. I’ve never had a beer with red x malt or Idaho 7 hops. I am a fan for sure.
