Stopped at Wegmans for the first time today. Was impressed with their craft beer selection. Picked up some Firestone Walker sours and anniversary ale, Lawsons and Maine Beer Co.

Wegmans does have a great selection for any grocery store. Some up here still have 2018 bombers of CBS. I’m shocked they haven’t sold them all.

I did see a bunch of CBS bombers but didn’t check the date. They were $19.99, $5.00 cheaper than the beer distributor.

Lassen Dry Cider, winesap single varietal. The apples used to make this cider were survivors of the Paradise fire here in California. Some tannin, and residual sweetness gives it a nice apple flavor with a soft finish, not much acidity, lightly carbonated giving a bit of zing. Really nice cider

HB Strata IPA before drinking with @CrookedLaker

Having a HB light ale from that's supposed to be a Foster's type clone beer. Pretty easy drinking beer and more flavor than I expected. Made it for friends that come over and don't care for hopped up beer but it may not last long.

Yup, another home run @Dgallo . Excellent stout that hits every step of the flavor profile of a great slice of cake. Love that it stays dry and isnt sweet at all. Wish I could put a bottle of this in front of the wife.

Man, you're killing me. I sure do miss Wegman's, and not just for their beer selection They're the total package. I really wish they'd expand out west.

Wegmans. They opened one in State College, PA about a year before I graduated from Penn State. It was the promised land of grocery stores. I had a friend who ate dinner there every night. Ha!

Sampling a Belgian Brut that I'm aging in a bourbon cask. Sweetness has moderated a bit, and the alcohol is a bit mellower, still tastes like cognac. Color and clarity excellent. 15.8% ABV, should be a killer in about 6 months.
