Nice lake. Fort dodge here.

Love it in Iowa, some of the nicest people i've met. Been all over the state. Brother in law's a vet in Carrol (sp). Love playing city slicker i get to round up the cattle and run the chute when he's got a lot of work to day. I learned quickly that farming and country Vets work hard for a living.

a nice pale ale with apollo/cascade/crystal(hops)/cashmere/centennial/simcoe. simple grain bill of 2 row and some honey malt...

I’m digging the quadruple dobis, too. To hell with your “it’s a little old!”

I thought you might! That Dobis is really killer stuff. Fresh, just imagine getting punched in the mouth with a dump truck of Citra hops straight off the vine. It’s floccin hard core. At the abv it’s at, your think it’s a dipper, but you can easily slam a couple before you know you’re in trouble.

What else does Cellarmaker make that’s good? First I’ve heard of them..,

Cellarmaker is a tiny hole-in-the-wall brewery in SF that outs out some of the best beers in Cali, if I do say so myself. They only can one or two beers every month or two, and (from what I’ve heard) it’s pretty similar to a Monkish release. Looong lines, and they sell out the same day, if not in hours. I go to whatever releases I can, and it’s always standing in line for an hour+ for a 2-3 4 pack limit. Worth it!!!

Really should have stopped there, but I didn't! Stoopid!! Half pour of something ... Daresay I can recal what it was other than a session IPA.

PS: they have a heavy half pour!!

Here's hoping wife takes the long road home!

Didn't think this would come up this far north.. I love the claw series. Actually have some rye I need to use, maybe an inspired IPA soon
