I am actually a bit confused on this front. Personally, I love pouring the beer into a nice glass with a bit of a tulip shape to it so that I can get a nice hit of aroma whenever I take a drink. Then again, Alchemist goes out of their way to print on the cans that you should be drinking Heady Topper straight from the can. Does anyone understand the reasoning behind this? I can't smell anything when I drink from a can, and to me at least half of the enjoyment I get out of a hoppy beer is the aroma.

EDIT: fixed cell phone autocorrect

You don't have to follow the f'en directions man!

I prefer pouring into a glass, but was working on light outside, so ease of use won out.

I think Heady says 'drink from the can' due to how not attractive it looks when poured into a glass. It's a cloudy mess (delicious as hell), but not very clear or pretty to look at.

Yeah, my last DIPA. I didn't clear at all. No secondary, no chilling. Only 80% xfer to keg, but..by far..best IIPA, i've made. Clarity means nothing, except to uneducated/average jOE.

It hides the striations of hop residue if you drink from a can. If they offered the can with the whole top peel off option I think it would be awesome

Yeah, wasn't a huge fan. Like a cocktail rather than a bier.

Today has been a good day.

Wicked Weed (had most of these and more)

Burial beer Co - AMAZING beers. Who would have thought a coffee saison would be fantastic?

More soon.

Jealous.

Too bad we can't LIKE from the phone. I'd give you 10, that is a good day!! Jealous... Any favorites?

Too many to list. Wicked weed concurrant was excellent. I will say though that everything I had at Burial was nothing short of exceptional. Their so small they won't even do growlers. A farmhouse IPA that was absolutely out of this world.

Make sure you tuck a few away, I had one that I put away last year and it gets better, need to save at least one of last years for next year.
More will be saved this year!:mug:

I believe you. My personality dictates to me that staring at beer is bad...unfortunately.

My winter ale extravaganza continues.
