Sorry to hear.

I have a 10-15 minute commute most days. Only problem is my work is where we get pounded by snow, so when I got stuck there with 6' of snow, we had like 6" at my house.

DIPA. Had one when I stopped home to see SWMBO before picking the kids up from after school program and having another one now. Realized I have to go to cub scouts in a few. D'oh!

I quite enjoyed SEPTA. The couple times I've been on it. Much more like the MTA system than Metro or the T. Metro's boring as flocc. And it baffles me how the snobby c***s in the outer burbs complain about Metro being too "dirty".

But the metro crazies make it all worthwhile. Like the lady who told me she threatened a bus driver with a knife and that they wouldn't get her back in the nut house. Or the guy who was talking to a broken cell phone (flip phone broken almost in half) telling a mo-f*kka over it that he was going to kill him if he didnt get his money. Saying MFer in his own special way twice minimum in every sentence.

Sadly I traded my metro hour plus trip each way with a 5 block walk for going in to work at 6:30 in the morning and a 20 minute ride if I am feeling alert. People seem to want to take out motorcyclists around here. Sure beats coffee though. Takes me closer to 35 if I have to take the car.

Sure works better than klawfree

Well I just got off the phone with the non cable company that pushes their fiber optic packages because my internet started sucking a couple weeks ago, and the set top boxes wont respond to the remotes because the service person who was supposed to show up between 1-5pm today never showed. No notice. They said that the guy called out and no one picked up the call.
I really should send them a bill for that time as I work during those hours.

Tldr all of them suck. I womder if the guy will show up tomorrow.

Last time our bill went up I called to try and negotiate they kept trying to up sale me without lowering the bill, so I play my trump card and say I want to cancel and go with the other guys. The rep didn't even skip a beat and asked if I wanted to drop off the cable box or have them mail me a box to return it in. Needless to say the wife wasn't happy when she came home to no cable.
