I'll admit that i'm really not a fan of the style in general. I know it's supposed to be over the top hops, but it's just to much for me. I'm trying to taste the beer and failing. The hops just punch me in the face and I can't enjoy it. Sensory overload. I got the cure for that.

That sucks I've cut myself cooking to many times. Good thing you havent been drinking to much recently or all the alcohol might delay blood clotting.
 
Been two days without a kitchen due to renovation. Today finished prepping the new location for the washer and dryer and finished demo on the kitchen. Hoping to be done Monday or at least be far enough along to be able to get at the garage so I can clean it up so I can get a brew in.
Drinking a Bengals and watching drastic park.

Saw these w the Rogue logo at Total Wine in Wilmington yesterday.

Wife and kids got me a pair of these and a pair of the IPA glasses for Christmas.

Time to decide on my next stout for tonight...
 
Finally hit Adroit Theory earlier today (since I was being dragged all the way out to Loudoun by family). Had their Biere de Garde and Persona Non Grata (hibiscus saison). Tasty enough beers, cheesy schtick though, straight out of Hot Topic. Especially in a wealthy outer suburban yuppie haven like Purcelville. Grabbed a bottle of their Tenebris Barleywine for later. Thought about buying a second to age, but not paying the price they wanted without knowing the quality of the beer first (and the first two I wouldn't pay that price for).

Drinking my English Cider at home now.

I @billy-Klubb 'd out and had half a water. I hate this **** because it limits me from doing a bunch of **** around the house. Outside, too. No more drinking and slicing food. Went way too fast like I was on top chef. Sliced chunk off top of thumb. Not in good shape to brew. Nightcap.
