Neat parlor trick, but in my house the magnets are on the fridge ... right next to the drawer that has several bottle openers. Not to mention I carry one on my keychain. I think I can get a bottle open quicker the traditional way

Drinking a little hydro sample from an American Wheat with 1/2oz dried sweet orange peel added at 2 minutes. Going into secondary with another 1/2oz dried orange and the fresh zest of one lemon that has been soaked in about 1/3 cup of Bacardi white rum for a week (rum also going in).There's already a pronounced citrus flavor, but I'm assuming that will mellow over time, so I'm going ahead with the secondary additions. Nice bite from the Cascade hops and the Citra are reinforcing the orange peel. This little sample indicates some tasty wheat beer in the not too distant future!

My saison,. I hear you, after cleaning up this morning I went out and in the afternoon and did some more to make my life easier should this storm produce a lot. My town usually does a great job but last time not so much, must be running out of money, no problem they know where to get more.

If it had a slight vanilla hint to it, theyd almost be the same beer. Moo-hoo obviously doesnt have the vanilla, but they were pretty close non the less.

I've had Mean Old Tom a few times and there is barely any vanilla flavor there. As it warms, you'll get a little bit of it but not much.

Maine Beer Co. makes some good beers but nothing outstanding, IMO.
