HB raspberry hard lemonade

kegging sample of homebrew Saison. Super happy with how it turned out, even warm and flat.
mostly Pilsner malt, bit of Vienna, a pound of rye and some sugar. BE-134 yeast. Can’t wait for it to be carbed up.

It's a flat top/griddle. I want one...bad. Between charcoal and gas grills and a smoker I really don't need any more cooking apparatus, but sometimes want trumps need so who knows.

We live just inside the city line. Seeing a racoon, possum or a small rabbit is a big deal around here. We have plenty of squirrels though.

Porcini beer - not all mushrooms belong in beer (this one does not) - worth the experiment though.

HB NEIPA - 7.3%, Waimea, Citra, Nectaron. Turned out to be a great hop combo. One that I will repeat.

Sounded delicious & the nose on it was good too but it was a drain pour. Had a weird aftertaste to it, like that taste you have in your mouth after you vomit and haven’t brushed your teeth yet.

No HB tonite (have an Altbier in primary that will be ready this weekend) so another Kettlehouse IPA. Not much of a hardship; this is a really good WCIPA.

Nice change of pace. West coast style ipa, but definitely not overly bitter from WCIPAs of the past. Assertive for sure. CTZ, Amarillo, and Lemondrop hops. Good flavor and very drinkable.

OT: I make my cider dry. I wouldn't say this is bone dry but good crabapple essence. Maybe it's a play on Kingston and bone. Impulse buy at the country store coming back from the lab
