Boil and chill done… one of these while I wait for some of the whirlfloc goop to settle before I rack to the fermenter.

Back home & enjoying some Toppling Goliath while making dinner.
Oh and we adopted this little girl today too. 😬
I knew when we were visiting my sister in-law and her family this would happen. They have two cats and my daughters and wife would love seeing them play, so they would want to get a friend for our one year old cat. So here we are… Yeah we are crazy animal lovers!

Our local-ish Walmart had bins of sweet corn, “for your holiday barbecue” that looked like leftover stock from last year. Absolutely gross….I don’t know how they could feel ok selling it.
We got this at one of the Wally Worlds in Billings and it was good. It was probably local as there are a number of small, truck garden type veggie farms in the Yellowstone Valley, and they usually have new corn by the first week in July.

I was enjoying my iced tea when the margarita mix made an appearance. I combined the two. I’m sure I’m not the first to combine a margarita and iced tea but I’m calling it a Rita Palmer. I approve as an chilling at the river beverage.

Thought I was falling for some good old Yankee fnckery. Stopped by the local packy on the way from the golf course to treehouse the other day. Out in the boonies and was getting all the red flags of wrong directions for an out of towner. Pretty much had a lemon puss on knowing what was going on. Then the young fellow gave "I think it's in the Old Pickle Factory" Now I thought the young guy was way too young to amp it up that much. So I left and couldn't believe I was going to fall for it.

Oddly the directions were bad but the brewery is in an Old Pickle Factory. Glad I didn't tell him to f off.

Another good brewery in that area. Theyre heavy into death metal and wiccan/demon/board games worship but they're really small and you can tell the ingredients are homebrew fresh. They have a lot of interesting nature additions to most of their recipes.

They did have a Golden Axe arcade game in the back tho

Your tenacity is amazing. Not only that, and I'm sure I speak for the community, truly glad you weren't sacrificed to some Sour IPA Demon!
