I’m glad you like it. That was the problem child you helped me with. It isn’t the Guinness clone I was hoping for but still very drinkable IMO. How’s the carbonation? I serve on nitro and just bottle conditioned those for you.
The name Shielbaggan is the name of the village in County Wexford, Ireland where my great-great grandfather was raised.

Glad you’re enjoying them. I really liked that Dunkel too. It was an experimental 3 gallon batch I created after doing a bunch of research. You’ll have to scale it up. If you think it’s worthy, maybe I should post it in the recipe section.

1 lbs 4 oz Pilsner (2 Row) Ger (2.0 SRM) 18.3%
2.5 oz Carafa I (337.0 SRM) 2.3%
2.5 oz Melanoiden Malt (27.0 SRM) 2.3%
1 oz Tetnanger (3.7% AA) 60 min 16.2 IBU
.5 oz Tetnanger (3.7% AA) 30 min 6.2 IBU
.5 oz Tetnanger (3.7% AA) 10 min 2.9 IBU
1 package Saflager W-34/70 54° F

Mash @153° F 60 min.
