Wife had to work today, thank god not in retail so I just mashed in on an oatmeal stout

Got snow down there? Bro's sent a pic from Twain Harte...pretty white up there, but haven't heard about SLO yet.
I'm at our daughter's down in Camarillo, drove down yesterday morning. Did see snow on the mountain tops to the east on my drive down. Wife is flying in from Minnesota later today. She had her fill of snow while there. Anxious to see if she brings back any beer.

Funny I actually pulled out a bottle of white Sangria last night but thought better of it cause we had a lush of a cousin(wife's side) who was downing wine and vodka like ice water so thought I'd save the white Sangria for a more discerning palate!

Never used it. I'm a WY3787 Trappist fan.Not my best stout effort but still working out bugs. More bugs to come, SoCo Homebrew Supply guys gave me a fully loaded free 5gal mash tun. Going to replace an aweful Dubbel I made. Green apple, never cleared up so dumped.View attachment 654747
Let it sit bottled for extended time. I had a Doppelbock I had made that 6 months later it was green apple. But after 18 months tasted great!

Love your tenacity! Me? Faak it, I'll just brew another. Got the yeast on a quad right now. I'll throw the Dubbel on it next week.
