Munich Helles currently at 4.73%@1.010. Hope this turns out good with the string of failures lately...
Tried to nap earlier on this "Sunday" but neighbors across the street started their massive remodel, 8-10months. O the noise noise noise noise noise.....said the Grinch. In addition, the construction for the new highway system kept me up since 2am. Sounded like they're pounding piles into the ground. Hence the early drinking.
Oh well, I have half of Saturday off to watch our newly fermented Husker offence with the old West Virginia coach as OC. Sure, because they did SO well in the Big12.

I brewed a Helles Sunday myself. It’s happily bubbling away in the fridge at 54°. Raspberry hard lemonade brewed on Saturday is steadily burping too.
OT: hazy pale ale
Just like those old episodes of Gilligan’s Island – you’ve seen them a million times but it never gets old – Same is true with Ayinger Altbairisch Dunkel! Again and again, it’s a repeat performance! I can’t get enough of this stuff!
There was a time when most beers were like this, check out the old picture. Tasty, malty brews. It wasn’t until much later that they got the clue to lighten things up – Color and ABV!
Ayinger is one of my regulars here, really a great Bavarian Brewery, er, Brauerei. This is a nice dark, super drinkable lager. 5% ABV, Ayinger suggests this is good for food pairings. Heck, if I’m drinking this, how about two more? You keep the food, I’m drinking! Who needs food? More Ayinger! Prost!

My classic Pacific Northwest IPA, it's just pale malt, C-hops, and 5% C40. This beer really reminds me of what it was like when I had hair on my head.
HB oatmeal stout.

Here's the cousin of my PacNW IPA, a by the numbers UK IPA: Otter, invert #1, a bucket load of EKGs, and a shovel full of gypsum.

Bottling leftover of Graham's English Cider. Liking it a lot right now. The black tea and lime juice I added to the bb give it a nice balance. We'll see how it is when it's carbed. I started a Ribena wine on the lees.

If we lived in a fairer, more honest society, there would be a warning label on C-40, but Big Toupee has its grasping fingers in every aspect of our polity.
One of these days, though, we will rise up and throw off the shackles of Big Toupee.
