If we ever decide to give out HBT awards, you've gotta be in the running for "Most Googled Brewer." As a very systematic, focused brewer, I'm so envious of your wild scope. Brilliant!
Thanks, BC! I'd imagine the takeaway from the difference in our brewing styles is that your beers are consistently reproducible, improving and good tasting! Mine...not always, but I have fun (most of the time).🍻🍻

What do you know? It turns out that the Niners can actually kick a field goal if you give them enough tries. I'm on an IPA bender tonight so that I can experience the world as Jake Moody seems to see it.

This is the first pour of my new IPA. It has an early 90's grist of domestic 2-row and C-40 at what today would be called a very modest 1.058 gravity. I used about 1/3 of the C-40 that would have been normal at the time and used a 120min boil to pick up the needed flavor and color, an old trick that still works. Aside from the assertive 120min addition, the hop bill is very contemporary: 6oz combined of CTZ, Centennial, and Citra in the 40min whirlpool and the same again as dry hops. It's a contemporary take on the old classic WCIPA.

Here's the UK IPA that you've seen a million times before--Otter, invert #1, and a heap of EKGs. We need better beer language. These are both IPAs, but they have absolutely nothing in common.

Well it’s been a great 3 days, my beer-loving Dr. Daughter came in to town to check on Beermeister32 and her dear old Mom. Er, I mean Mom! Boy, you have to pick your words carefully!

Coming off a couple noteworthy events - Dr. Daughter hauled all of us down for multiple shots in the arm. Then 2 nights of beer tasting! Anything to ease the pain!

Pain it was too, hot, cold like a flu, then shivering and a day of body aches. Sure is great when these kids come to town! Oh yeah, another beer tonight - a delicious Bitburger Pils! Prost!
