Any luck? I looked Friday but clouds came up on the horizon so blocked my view.
A wave of fall weather today, 50 with 30mph winds. Spent the morning getting the camper prepped for one last campout this week. Forecast is for hard frost the 2 nights we will be camping, so made damn sure the heater was still working well and there's lots of propane.
Too blustery to hang out outside, so it's a Dunkles Hefeweizen indoors and a couple peanut butter cookies Mrs. Stout just got done baking.

Sitting in the driveway drinking a beer, feels a little hick ish, but it's to nice to be inside and I'm done with my chores for the day. Uhh, hb brown ale

Tapped this a few minutes ago. It's a UK IPA with no funny stuff. It's just Otter, 10% homemade invert #1, lots of EKGs and enough gypsum to put some hair on the hops. It's a bit surly due to over-carbonation, but once it settles down it should be alright.
Blast from the past. Gave BiL a bottle of Hard Limeade w/Jalapeno about 2yrs ago. Gave it back. Creamy still plenty of flavor.
So....to be clear, he didn't first drink it, right?

Homemade sausages, beer, and sauerkraut for a little Oktoberfest! Also apples, rutabaga, red cabbage, pretzels, and (homebrew) beer cheese!
Home again, well nearly. Porter and a burger that’s coming, while we wait out the pumpkin pickers that swarm the east end of LI every weekend until Halloween.

Fizzy, kinda yellow water after a short (10 hour) day at the track. Hey! Don't judge me...it was free.
Drank about half of each. Then ended up pouring the rest into one glass and that was delicious. There’s no loser here!

You are drinking a new Helles version of their beer, just over two years old.

I opened my first Grape Ale, it was definitely not what I was expecting (although I had never tried a grape ale).
I think I had my first disappointment, it's drinkable but it wasn't at all what I expected... i can feel the acidity of the grapes but it seems a bit watered down, and i can't notice any of the aromas of the Moscatel (the grapes I used). Anyway, I'll wait and see if it improves with time and I'll see if the other two grape ales I have just finished fermenting are better than this one.
