Next time, try a Suffering Bastard!Last night I got to go to my first Tiki Bar and had a couple awesome drinks. A Zombie and a Pistachio Swizzle, while my wife had possibly the best Painkiller either of us has ever had.

And this evening we rode a ferry to Bainbridge Island and this was the first place to stop for a beer. A good Czech Dark Lager and a Brut Cider.

Pistachio Swizzle
TBH, I don’t totally remember what was in it but it was fantastic.I don't have the faintest idea what that is, but I'm glad we live in a world that has Pistachio Swizzles.
Also, killer looking Czech dark. Gorgeous.
As it should be. Something that silly shouldn't be held to rigorous inspection, its purpose in life is joy.TBH, I don’t totally remember what was in it but it was fantastic.
So I left my last HB to settle out in the Fermonster for the last 4-5 months... (horror!!) It was a Belgian Dubbel Sour to start, then life got in the way...and I simply didn't touch it. I won't show pics of the 'pedicle' (spelling) because it's a bit scary. I chose not to carbonate.
Wow...it's sour, and it's definitely a Belgian Dubbel...but it almost tastes like a port. Incredible. Very strong, and the last abv-ish reading was 11.9% a month ago. Not sure if I could do this again in my small home ( too impatient!!! ) but I'm pretty happy with this beerxperiment. Cheers!! I might have two!
