Nothing fancy, just something refreshing after the trip back home from Huntsville.

Garage beer. Better picture of the can. This is a decent lawnmower beer but so is Busch Light at 15 bucks a 30 pack. I like OB beer but I don’t like paying craft beer prices for generic adjunct lager. Oh well, there’s only 3 of them in the 15 pack. Most variety packs are only 12 beers. I’ll just consider the cheap swill to be a free bonus. There. Now I feel better.

I use to travel to Cleveland for work. They'd have Bit kegs of that a week old. It was very difficult to leave that beer hall.

OB Thick Haze. This is a pretty good hazy IPA. Galaxy, Calypso, Eureka, and Cashmere hops. I wouldn’t call it thick, but it’s quite flavorful.

A beautiful, fresh Dubbel IPA called 'Cosmic Wave'. It's brewed in Tofino, BC. Hey man, nobody knows when the big waves are coming...

Haha, it has a very sprucey/resinous hit off the start, smooth carb and a great cedar/biscuit finish. Not boozy at all for %9, a great DIPA.

HB rye ipa. Really enjoying this. No shocker, but kegging really did improve my ipa game. I went a little wild looking for a reddish color and ended up more amber, but oh well.

My last bottle of HB Altbier. I have a Blonde and an Amber fermenting. I’ll have to make do with commercial beer for a week or so.

Finally stopped off at Hamilton Family Brewery in Rancho Cucamonga, Ca. after a couple of sales reps recommended them, and was super excited to try these. The mango IPA was above average, but the other three all had issues. Here’s to hoping the Nickel & Nickel can save the night.

Should I actually learn to make good beer + pretzels, I may never leave the house.
