Took a drive to Peddlers Village in PA today. End of day stopped in Freewill Brewing for a pint. I got a NEIPA and my wife selected WCIPA. Both were very good. Of course I am the worst with pics and forgot to take one till the pint was almost gone.

Leffe Belgian Abbey style ale. Bought this at the recommendation of my Son in Law who was in Belgium recently with the USAF. Strong golden ale, 6.6 ABV, I’m guessing around 3 volumes CO2. Has slight spicy clovey notes typical of the style, not overpowering though. Excellent head, great lacing.

This is the 2nd beer I brewed. Clone Old Peculier from an Alabrew kit. Sharing with my son. Bottled it on 02/22/19. It has really aged well. Molasses on the nose, taste is molasses, prunes and something very flavorful that I can't quite describe. Wish I had a bunch more!

Thursday my wife and I celebrate 15 years of marriage or as I like to say, her putting up with me. Her sister and husband celebrate six years on Saturday and are in town visiting. So my in-laws offered to watch the kids today so we could all go out and celebrate early while they are in town visiting. It’s been a fun afternoon.

Got this beer from @Section1 . It’s different. I’d call it more of a brown or porter before stout. Definitely nutty.
