I have only brewed two batches of beer, both extract kits. But I would like to work up a recipe for a race me and some buddies are running in in the middle of May. The race is called Warrior Dash. So I'd like to feature Warrior hops and would like a pretty hoppy IPA. Should I look at the recipes on some extract kits and substitute in Warrior hops? Also, which hops work well with warrior?

My DFH clone uses warrior hops. The only issue I see with doing an IPA will all warrior hops is that they tend to be very high AAU, and great for bittering, but not so great for flavor/aroma additions.

I have a DFH clone extract recipe posted, and you could do the warrior hops over the whole recipe (it's for "continuous" hopping) if you really want warrior in every addition.

I tried getting in on that this year. It's the first time in my area but by the time I'd heard of it, it was booked. Hopefully next year. Have fun!

I used hopville's beer calculus to come up with this. Any thoughts?
