All Halos after classic wish they were better than the pistol. Xbox connect + the first game was the dope ****.

The Halo 1 pistol is probably the best video game gun of all time. Ever since, a bad-ass pistol has been my favorite weapon in pretty much any FPS. Borderlands nailed it with Masher revolvers but almost completely pulled them out (and killed the revolver class entirely by nerfing them and merging them into the pistol class) in Borderlands 2. The cardinal sin was that BL2 was too much like the first game, but the Cardinal Sin 1a was pulling my mashers.

Has anyone played the new AC? I still have to finish Black Flag and 2 others before I get into it.

And Mad Max? Worth a pick up?

Wife just picked up the new AC. I stopped playing them after whatever one had the Civil War stuff in it. They were just all the same game reskinned in era's that were getting increasingly less interesting. Give me back the Old English speaking Templars that could potentially ruin your day.

Played some more Halo 5. At some point I found a DMR, of which I've never found in game before. Made it a little more interesting. The Hunters were a PITA but made it a bit more fun too. More strategic less point and shoot.

Never could get into AC.

I was about done with them as well, but Black Flag brought me back. I loved that one. haven't played any onf the ones that came after like Unity and Brotherhood.. I have those sitting on the shelf still. Need to get moving on them so I can play Syndicate.

Ok, I forgot about that one.. I'm not even one of those people that gets all giddy about pirates but that one was definitely unique and had some fun with it. Like any non-multiplayer game though, I can play any of these games for a solid day or two before they get put on the shelf. Normally end up just giving them to my friend to play since he's thoroughly entertained by single player campaigns.

The DMR is a bit more powerful this go around or is it just a huge step up from the new battle rifle you start with? I have noticed that the hunters and knights are much tougher in Halo 5 as well. I haven't been able to find the sweet spot to one shot them yet.

Overall the solo campaign has been a breeze on heroic, nothing has really held me up for long. The Destiny like revive feature feels like cheating; cuts down on reloads tremendously. 5 hours in and I am on level 9; probably would have finished it on normal by now.

Hunters are new to me. I found that you have to get behind them to do anything. And that was by luck. Had one turn to face my fireteam and I hit it with a shotgun to the back and it dropped. Bullets to the back is the only way I've seen one drop. Surprised the sh!t out of me when I lobbed a grenade at one and it volleyed it back at me like we were playing tennis. Fvcker!

With the DMR I found that it only take 2 or 3 shots on the bigger guys, minus the hunters. However, the light rifle seems more effective against the soldiers (?) (the ones that teleport around and die in a starburst of light).

Yes, Heroic is not difficult. The hardest character so far has been the Hunters. The rest has just been a matter of volume.

You must be new to Halo, Hunters have been in all 7 games. You have to hit the hunters in the orange areas, so mainly the back and right under the chin. The magnum is thought to be overpowered in Halo CE because you can one shot a hunter with it in the back fairly easy. Halo 4 they have light armor on the back that you have to break first and a sniper shot to the face was all that was really needed. The Halo 5 hunters will take a rocket to the back and still turn and fight.

The new knights look to have a similar design as you have to break their armor piece by piece before you can deal any real damage. I haven't found the best strategy for this yet. They were easy in halo 4; just kill their shields and then head shot.

Heroic has been much easier than expected. Probably because I am comparing it to the Halo 2 reboot that I played this summer. Halo 2 campaign is the most difficult in the series followed by Halo CE.

I played through the campaign of Halo 4 strictly in CO-OP with my son. Don't recall seeing half of the characters in that as I have seen in just the first 2 missions of Halo 5. Have also played a mix of missions in TMC. However, I am not a dedicated Halo fan so I may have just disregarded some of them as I was more preoccupied by the people I was playing with.

lol feel free to send them to me. I much prefer single player games. I usually get bored with online multiplayer about as quick as you do with single campaign :mug:

Since I'm not sure if that's sarcasm or not, I'll just come out and say it's the zerg logo from starcraft :p

Should have gotten queen of blades.

Ima get The Legacy of the Void on Nov 10th when its out. Not a PvP player, just want to finish the campaign. was big into SC long time ago. used to PvP then moved into UMS games. the biggest fail of SC2 is the lack of a good map eidtor to make good UMS "Arcade" games, and battle net 2.0 is shty compared to how it was.

I think my FIFA team is getting a little too insane. Started with Man U I'm in my 4th season right now

This is my lineup

GK - De Gea
RB - Darmian
CB - Varane
CB - Hummels
LB - Shaw
CDM - Pogba
CDM - Busquets
RW - Bale
ST - Messi
ST - Ronaldo
LW - Rooney

Notable Bench/Reserves

Januzaj, Blind, Depay, Oxlade/Chamberlain, Jones, Stones, Young and I have 2 recruited players who're under 20 and rated in the high 70s (max potential for both of them is something like one being 92-94 the other being 90-94)

It's at the point I don't even know where to spend money next. I'll probably buy Neymar or Hazard and sell Rooney, and eventually I'll have to cash out on Ronaldo and Messi as they're both fairly comfortably in their 30s, but by then I'm hoping my recruited striker will be in the high 80s or 90s and I'll switch to a 4-3-3 attacking and use my other mid and recruit James Rodriguez and slide Bale and Neymar/Hazard out wide.

It's pretty sad how dominant I am. It's amazing what happens when you get a few lucky sales.

Beat Halo 5 last night. Fun game. Only really frustrating on one part but I had a good time. It seems just a set up for the next game which the ending is. Time for multiplayer like Halo 2 days or until Fallout 4 gets here

Around how many hours did it take to beat? 8-12?

I like it when a game is brutally hard or challenging. Games have become too easy over the years, and most games hold the player's hand too much. This is why I like playing games like dark souls/bloodborne or MGS.

Can't wait to play fallout 4 in December... when I actually have time to play games again...

I played it on heroic. There is a more difficult selection. I saw it took me about ~10 hrs. Took me a week to beat playing a few hours every so often. It can take longer if you look for all the intel and skulls hidden in the levels

Don't tell my boss, but when I have ten minutes of downtime at work, I've been playing Ultima VI. When CD-ROM drives came out, my dad upgraded our PC with one and it came with a disc containing Wing Commander and Ultima VI. We played the hell out of Ultima VI for years without ever really knowing what we were doing, just running around getting all kinds of sweet equipment and gobs and gobs of money, but never advancing the quest. Since I've figured out better how one plays and advances through an RPG in the intervening decades, Ultima VI has been on my to-do list for years, especially after I played Ultima V: Lazarus - a conversion mod for Dungeon Siege that brings the eponymous game to a (somewhat) modern engine. There's also the Ultima 6 Project, which does for Ultima VI what Lazarus did for Ultima V, but that's not really an option at work, especially since my Dungeon Siege discs got scratched up and don't work anymore.

I've only put about an hour into it so far and I've got a lot of character advancement to do, but I've already advanced the story further than I ever did in those tens, maybe hundreds of hours I spent playing it as a kid.

I scored a few epic pieces of gear on ESO over the weekend that really made my character silly. Trolled a few players from the opposing alliances. Wrecked a team of three by myself. I can't imagine how enjoyable this game would be if I had people to play with; my friends just can't hang now when they finally started playing. I ended up spending the entire time carrying them through dungeons and just wasting my time trying to explain mechanics and skills to them. It's all for not, they will be giving up and going to the new CoD when it is released.

Originally, I didn't care... but now that my character is nearly as good as he can be from solo play on ESO without being in a fancy guild, I think I am actually really excited for Fallout. I haven't read anything about it at all, and it doesn't matter. I absolutely love Bethesda.

Also for whoever asked previously about the new Assassin's Creed: My wife played it a little over the weekend and really enjoyed it. Though she enjoys them all, she made it a point to show me a few things including the hideout that is on a train that moves throughout the city. It does seem more customize-able with some skill trees, but the skills seem to be based on what normal combat used to include. Now, instead of just mashing combat buttons and countering attacks, you might have to learn a counter skill. Gameplay aside, it is visually stunning compared to any other game I've seen on PS4.

Anyone playing Black Ops? I wasn't going to get it, but my friend has been texting me non-stop while I work today. It seems like they brought back every single feature I loved about those games. (Tomahawks/C4/Demolition Game Mode) Guess I may have to get it after all.

Not yet. I think it just released for Xbox today.

I'm debating to get it. I got every other COD games and enjoyed them. I didnt play multi player on advance much. Might play more on black ops 3 but now getting sucked in Halo 5 Multi which is outstanding

I like having the hard copies. I've downloaded a few games but always buy my favorites.

I'm that way with CDs. I have to have the physical to see the artwork and booklet but with games there isnt a booklet anymore and i'm fine with just downloading them. Plus its easier to switch games without getting up.
