I brewed my Victory Ale yesterday:
Should be 1 week in primary & two in secondary. I am thinking of dry-hopping 1 1/2 oz Williamette hop pellets when I transfer. Am I getting too hoppy?
BTW, Here's the nearly completed front label:
That's the HMS Victory. The Royal Navy's flagship commanded by Admiral Lord Nelson. He defeated the French and Spanish navies at Trafalger in 1805.
6# Alexanders pale LME
8 oz Victory Malt
1 oz Simpsons Peated Malt
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 oz Challenger 60 min
1 oz Liberty 40 min
1/2 oz Challenger 20 min
1 oz Liberty 10 min
1 tsp Irish Moss 15 min
Malt was crushed & steeped at 170 F for 20 min. All hops were pellets.
