I've had beers in the primary bucket for 5-6 weeks with no ill effects, 14 days in the primary bucket is my standard minimum before i rack to package, big beers get at least 3 weeks
good to know that
 
A 5-6 week primary wasn't planned it was from shear laziness and procrastination, just throwing that out there lol, buckets aren't the best for long fermentation because of the permeability of the plastics can allow too much oxygen thru and might reduce the shelf life of your beers
 
I just transfered to secondary and dry hopped. After 5 days it reached 1, 009 FG and tastes very good so far.
