Brewed my beer yesterday, only my second attempt. Anyway, Im realizing I underpitched my wort as I only used 1 smackpack and my OG was 1.078.
So I dont have anymore Wyeast and I would have to go out of town to get it but I have a few fresh packs of Safale US-05 Ale yeast.......would pitching the dry yeast affect things badly since I used liquid yeast to start?
No real fermentation yet after just over 24 hrs, temp is a stable 69F. Small thin layer of krausen not quite covering the whole top has just started.
