I wanted to do a quick NEIPA and I’ve been wanting to try kviek and the temps are right so I bought some from my lhbs date of 6/29 on the pack and plan to brew Thursday. My starting OG is 1.078 and I plan on fermenting it in my garage so it could be in a temp range of 80-95+ ambient degrees, were headed for a few hit days here in Michigan. My plan is just to pitch the pack as is, I’m sure with hose temps the yeast will still be a beast but will it throw any strong esters being under pitched and I mean like strong esters that’ll take away from the juicy hops.
