Hi,
I recently picked up an old Marvel 61HK MA kegerator and would like to install a triple tap since it'll fit 3 ball locks. Looking around the forum, seems like the consensus is to go with Perlicks unless there's another forward sealing brand out there that I haven't read about.

Anyway, it seems like buying a tower and faucets new would cost more than the kegerator. Something like this -http://www.beveragefactory.com/draftbeer/towers/triplefaucet/DT3F-630SS.html

Been keeping an eye on the For Sale threads and craigslist and I guess I was just wondering, is $240 about the going rate for Perlick triple tower or can they be found new/used for less? Any info is appreciated, thanks!

Well, most SS towers are >$100, and the Perlick faucets are ~$40 each, so yeah I'd say that's about the correct price.

Go perlick! I have one of these, very good quality.

There you go. So you could probably make it a bit cheaper. You'd need other parts though. It might break down like this:

$55 - Tower
$120 - 3 Faucets
$30 - 3 shank assemblies
$15 - 3 90° tailpieces & tail nuts

So you're looking at around $220, and that's not counting shipping. Depending on whether the $240 one comes pre-assembled, it may or may not be worth it for $20 extra.

Thanks for breaking that down!

Guess that is the going rate unless a used one pops up. Goal is to have homebrew pouring with style on the 4th. Appreciate the info!
