"Top cropping" yeast?

I bought a pack of German ale yeast, WY-3333. The description says it's a true top-cropping strain and will have a huge krausen. It's also unusually flocculant for a wheat beer yeast.

If I want to harvest this yeast and use it again, do I need to harvest from the krausen (sounds hard to do in a carboy), or can I just save the crap from the bottom of the fermenter like usual?

I've successfully harvested the bottom yeast from a yeasts listed as top cropping. Although I've never done it, from reading other posts it sounds like pulling that krausen will get you a stronger healthier yeast.

Like a said I haven't top cropped, but once I learn a little more about yeast that will be the next adventure for me.

If you use the simple yeast storage sticky method you'll still do great.
