Too High FG ?

Hi I making beer from morgan royal oak amber ale kit and Can recipe says that FG should be 1005 or below. I took sample and placed in room temperature and after week its 1011
And here is my question this final gravity is ok ?
I used 1kg of LDME and made 20L batch. Recipe is for 23 L with 1kg of dextrose , malt or morgans master blends.

Gravity didnt change in a few days. my room temp is 25-27 *C.
Should it be lower?

1.005 seems quite low for an extract brew. Extracts often stop at 1.020 so it seems 1.011 would be good. I would think that 1.005 would give you a thin watery dry beer...

If it tastes good, I would go with it as is.

Kits often list a final gravity but that is only an estimate. When you are "making beer" what you are doing is making wort. The yeast make the beer and once introduced to the wort they are in charge of how fast they work and how low they want to leave the final gravity.

You have taken readings a few days apart with no change and the gravity you have read is within a reasonable range, proving that you do not have a stuck fermentation so you have proven that you truly are at final gravity.

Why 1.005 would give watery beer?
more concentrated malt give higher gravity?
Then IF making all grain beer with starting gravity 1.040 what should be final gravity for not watery beer?
From what Gravity beer have Deep rich taste? Because I understand that higher gravity - more sugar - more%

Actually, thinking about it, thin watery is not really correct. Depending on what the OG was it might be right. But with an average extract recipe, I would expect the FG to be close to 1.010. 1.005 would create a dry beer with a high ABV% (in an average extract recipe)

I see you are talking of an OG of only 1.040. I rarely brew with such a low OG so 1.005 might be just about right. Giving an ABV of about 4.59%

At 1.011 your ABV is about 3.81%

Taste the beer, if it tastes good don't worry too much about hitting the numbers, they are predictions only. If the beer tastes too sweet, swirl the fermenter gently, raise the temperature a couple degrees and see if fermentation continues.

I didn't check gravity of my beer in fermentor . After pitching yeast I took sample to small pot and left on the desk with higher temperature to check what should be a FG. I guess yeast in that temp in one week should eat all sugar.
I'm afraid of bottle bombs. So want be sure if it's really a FG. If gravity won't change in a couple of days everything should be all right?
 
At 1.005 I doubt you have anything to worry about. After about 10 days minimum to 30 days maximum take another reading. If it is still the same, fermentation is done and it is safe to bottle.
