To rehydrate or not to rehydrate? That is the question.

So I have everything I need to make my Apfelwein. Im about to start sanitizing my equiptment right now.

I have looked at the instructions several times. It looks like I just pour the yeast right on in without rehydrating it. Is that correct?

Direct from the EdWort's mouth

Open the packet of Montrachet Yeast and pour it into the neck of the funnel

So no need to rehydrate. It's as easy as he makes it out to be.

The instructions say just pour it in, but if it makes you uncomfortable not to there's nothing wrong with rehydrating first.
