Does anyone know how far in advance you can book a reservation for lucalis through resy? And at what time they go live. Many thanks

Got to try both of the Other Half 5th Anniversary Stouts at the source yesterday. Jesus diabetes christ - literally the sweetest beers I've ever tasted in my entire life, especially the banana one. Maybe I'm getting old but I could barely polish off 4oz of each. Huge beasts of beer.

This is the style of all the OH stouts these days. I quite enjoyed the banana stout. Didn’t try the other one. Definitely very sweet beer but I certainly enjoy them. But I can see them being too much for

anyone know if theres free parking at Mikkeller if theres not a game? thinking about going during my down time tomorrow.

Yes. On non game days, there is free parking in the G Official Lot (on google maps). It is just past the brewery. There are cones in front. When you pull in, just tell the attendant you are going to the brewery. Too bad I won’t be there tomorrow.

Hey all,

I just wanted to post this here for anyone who may have been wondering about the TB crawl or doesn't feel like searching around for the Evite link.

I am canceling this year's crawl, which was planned for March 2. A number of factors led to this decision, including personal issues, clashing with NYC Beer Week, lower interest overall, and lack of spaces for a large group.

For those who have rearranged schedules, I truly am sorry for any inconvenience.

This all said, a few of us were toying with the notion of meeting anyway for an informal event. We have debated a bottle share at one of our favorite venues, One Mile House. If this is something that interests you, please let me know and I can see about accommodations.

Of course, when the time is right, we can always try to plan again. For now, though, it's for the best to wait.

Thanks to all for your understanding.

(BadJustin, if you could make a note on social media somewhere, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.)

All the understandings! Thanks for trying to wrangle us ******** anyway. Always down for a meet up otherwise.

Definitely down if a OMH share happens.

Hey raginasian238 , hope you're doing OK, life can be really challenging at times.

That date is 2 weeks from today ? I would likely be down for an informal get together , share, whatever the group wants. Maybe I can finally tick tikk ? See his like above. :)

nobody ticks tikk

Thanks raginasian238 for the effort, definitely take the time to focus on family right now. Best wishes to you and your family.

On my part, I apologize for not being able to lock in round two of the ZX hosting for the event, I have failed you all. Will search for some natty Rush plus and hoard it for the next gathering. Cheers

So Im going to be in NY on Sunday the 24th. Flying into LaGuardia with my daughter who I then have to get to JFK. Anyone have any experience with the shuttles that run between LaGuardia and JFK or is cabbing it easier? Landing at 9am and have to get her to JFK by noon. After I drop her off at JFK, I have to get back to LaGuardia for a 4:15 flight back home. I think this leaves me a reasonable amount of time to hit someplace up for lunch and a few beers, looking for suggestions and if anyone is interested in a meet up for some lunch? Want to stay in the Brooklyn area or somewhere between the two airports to avoid possible delays from tunnels or bridges.

Thanks for all the effort you put into this already Denise. Definitely up for a OMH bottle share.

I have no experience with this run you’re talking about, but I’d think the shuttle would be absolutely your best bet. The airports aren’t that far away from one another and you have plenty of time to get there. No need to waste the time, money, or stress of a cab if they offer a shuttle.

They have the Mikkeler Bar that is attached to CitiField. Also, I’ve been to the Station House that is in that area. It was good when I was there years ago for a concert at Forest Hills.

What CoinStarChange said re: Mikkeller. Great taplist and food options. Keeps you close to LaGuardia so you don't have to worry about missing your flight. Don't spend the $100+ round trip cab fare to go into Brooklyn for an hour.

I'm assuming these are private shuttles? The drive on a Sunday morning should be pretty quick. 20 minutes. Maybe 30 max unless something out of the ordinary occurs. The shuttles are probably cheaper, though maybe not all that much, since you have to book 2 tickets for one trip. Uber/Lyft will probably be $30-35 each way.

I also recommend Mikkeller NYC. It's a 5 minute drive from Laguardia, 50+ beers on tap, good food and will be chill.

Has anyone been to the new Evil Twin location?

jammery unintentionally asking this question after your post, it's just been something I keep forgetting to ask.

You pot stirrer!

Is it open? They had a friends and family thing a couple weeks ago but it was my understanding that the taproom hadn't opened at that point. I'm not paying attention though. I have tried two beers. One IPA that was good and an ok sour.

Hahaha, honest truth!

Apparently they had another can release this weekend and let you call in to reserve cans if you're going to come during production hours during the day vs. at night when the retail sales take place.

Spoke to Megan last night and unfortunately, a share at OMH won't work that day.

Perhaps we can all plan something for a later date, when the timing is better. Most of us are all friends anyway so I'm sure we'll run into each other soon enough.

would be interested in this on another date if I'm free

So Southwest canceled our flight this morning. Every other flight is fully booked. Currently driving to JFK. Will probably spend the night before heading back to Chicago tomorrow. Anyplace worth checking out near JFK?
