Ascribing it to cacao nibs strikes me as the sort of thing the Bruery did while trying to pin down their issues, and that's obviously not a compliment.Don't think it takes a chemist to realize that not all the reported infections had cocoa nibs in them...
Considering it's just messageboard chatter, I wouldn't put too much stock in it, but - in spite of my belief that Modern Times will overcome their issues more quickly than the Bruery did - I'd be lying if I said I wasn't somewhat concerned by the fact that they're working on two new facilities, doubling the size of the club, and introducing a ton of new beers/variants all in the span of a year.
